These books vary in size from about 6 X 4 inches to 0.25 X0.25 inches. They have a variety of polished lapidary rock slices as the front cover and exotic wood back covers. The content includes a title page - Earth Book, a page with a John Ruskin quote - "Nature is painting for us day after day pictures of infinite beauty" and one page with a photo-microscope image of a geological thin sections viewed with polarizing microscopy.
