Materials - repurposed antique microscope, plexiglass, zebrawood, ebony wood, brass, archival paper

A book focused on microscopy, revealing a wondrous array of microcosm. Antique microscope cut in half and mounted in plexiglass covers hinged to spine of zebrawood. Pages inserted in brass tubing held in a support of ebony wood attached to the spine. Micrographs ink jet printed on Epson Velvet Art Paper with archival inks. Upon opening the book it visually appears as though “opening a microscope to enter the microscopy world”.
